Final Storyline Ideas
Our idea is going to focus on a narrative concept, by displaying through a time period what occurs and how it leads to certain consequences. The idea is based on a childhood long friendship between two people that has now reached into the late teens/early adulthood.
A friendship that has been forged over so many years is something special and something all people can relate to, therefore through the loss of the one of the friends we are going to convey a lot of emotion and meaning, and keep our audience engaged.We are going to change between the past and present by altering our colour themes. The present will be represented with a dull and dark colour pallet to show the current time and to show the emotionless, sad state, whilst the past will have a slightly more vibrant colour theme to distinctly convey the difference in times.
This is similar to the Netflix series '13 Reasons Why', in which this editing technique is used. This is at 2:18 in the example video.
