Product Inspiration
Other various products have supported in providing inspiration for our music video. The music video is set to revolve around the theme of loss and sadness of something special to someone. Many other products besides the music video convey these themes and create these emotions through various techniques.
Man of Steel
Man of Steel
One of which is the ending fight scene from 'Man of Steel' (2013). The superman franchise has always been based around the theme of family and loving others and helping others. Family has been a massive influence in superman's life and has inspired how he treats people, therefore when he suddenly has to chose between killing his uncle or letting innocent people die, he chooses to kill his only family member left.This strong bond of family and love is conveyed through the fast paced cuts and close-ups used to convey emotion between the two characters, helping in building tension towards a final decision, that for Superman was extremely difficult, shown through his hesitation and unwanting sacrifice.

This strong bond and emotion is what we want to try and convey in our music video through similar techniques. This will aid in creating the correct theme for the music video and matching the meaning of the song.
Fast Five
Another product that has provided with inspiration is the 'Fast and Furious' franchise. Fast and Furious consistently reinforces the concept of family and how important it is. Even though all the characters aren't formally related, they have been through so much together and put their lives on the line for one another, that they basically are a family.
One of the scenes that perfectly represents this is the family scene from 'Fast 5'. You can clearly see that they aren't a family respectively because of their ethnic difference, however that shows how strong their bonds are because even they are different, they all consider each other family.
This strong bond is what we aim to represent through our characters, that even though they aren't related, their bond is so powerful that they can calls themselves family together, or more or less brothers.
